Yes, at HRM Counselling, we understand that not everyone is able to attend in-person sessions. That's why we offer virtual counseling sessions via secure video platforms, as well as counseling over the telephone. We want to ensure that our clients have access to the support they need in a way that is convenient and comfortable for them. Our licensed therapists are trained to provide effective counseling services through these virtual and remote channels, maintaining the same level of privacy, professionalism, and quality of care as our in-person sessions. Whether you prefer to connect with us from the comfort of your own home or while on the go, we are committed to meeting you where you are.

Payment is due on the day of the session and can be paid by cash, debit card (in-person), credit card or e-transfer.

At HRM Counselling, we understand that cost is a significant consideration when seeking therapy services. Many insurance plans do provide coverage for therapy sessions, but it's important to check with your specific provider to determine the extent of your coverage. We recommend to contact your insurance provider to ensure coverage for counselling services as well as if there are any stipulations as to what professional credentials are required. Each session is 50 minutes in length. The final 10 minutes of the hour is used by the mental health professional to ensure any notes/charting is complete and up to date for the file.
